Here’s what the job entails
In the role, your primary function will be to analyse the European power markets and specific contracts linked to renewable assets. You will be compiling and analysing available data to build a solid foundation for our investment decisions. In addition, you will gain valuable experience of the European energy market and its price dynamics
Concretely, your responsibilities will include:
- collaborating with portfolio managers, traders and analysts to perform valuation of financial products linked to energy generation
- designing valuation frameworks and automating processes
- maintaining and improving existing valuation and hedging tools
- undertaking ad-hoc analysis tasks
- proactively seeking to consolidate repetitive workflows and tasks
Meet your team
The power market analysis team supports the trading teams with thorough analysis, providing a solid foundation for investment decisions. Our primary area of responsibility is modelling the long-term evolution of the power market and prices within the European price zones.
We are a team of 10 specialists with backgrounds in engineering, physics and economics. We are a curious and innovative team, always seeking the information hidden in the data. We perform analysis with high integrity communicate the results to our stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand. We have an informal and humorous culture, where open communication and mutual respect are highly valued.

As you will be working with a variety of stakeholders, we imagine that you are a great collaborator and are motivated to succeed as part of a team. We are also looking for someone who is able to work with complex tasks and can find efficient solutions while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
We also imagine that you:
- hold a relevant educational background in engineering, physics, mathematics or economics
- have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position where you have built things
- are experienced in coding in Python and SQL
- are proficient in English - both written and spoken
- are great at stakeholder management
