Here’s what the job entails
In the role, you will play a key part in strengthening Danske Commodities’ (DC) service management landscape by implementing and improving ITIL-based practices across the organisation. Working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders, you will contribute to creating reliable, stable and predictable services while driving continuous improvements that support our business needs.
Your key responsibilities include:
acting as the primary point of contact for service-related queries and escalations at DC
implementing and improving ITIL-based processes, best practices and DC's overall service management framework
leading incident, problem and change management activities, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices, alignment with business requirements and internal governance
collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to improve service delivery, operational performance and ways of working
facilitating root cause analysis and problem management activities, enabling technical teams to identify recurring issues and implement sustainable improvements
identifying opportunities to improve service quality and efficiency through process optimisation, automation and knowledge sharing
Meet your team
As our new service management specialist, you will join Digital Workplace Engineering, whose mission is to provide frontline support, reliable collaboration tools, secure end-user computing and structured service management that keeps our services consistent and high-quality. You will be one of two dedicated service management specialists within the team, working closely together to drive and develop service management practices across DC.
We are a team of 12 dedicated colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of expertise. Together, we work closely with the business to develop solutions, automation and self-services that simplify workflows and reduce disruption. By understanding the needs of our colleagues, we help create a more seamless and reliable digital workplace experience across DC.
But enough about us… over to you!
As you will be driving and continuously improving service management and incident management practices across the organisation, we imagine that you are motivated by creating lasting organisational impact through well-anchored processes and ways of working. You thrive in a role with a broad stakeholder landscape, where you partner with teams across DC to drive adoption, strengthen process maturity and ensure that service management practices become an integrated part of the daily operations. We are also looking for someone who works in a structured and quality-conscious manner, as you will be balancing operational details with the broader needs of the business and your stakeholders.
Further, we expect that you:
have experience working with IT service management and ITIL frameworks, including driving the implementation of new practices and improving existing processes
combine technical understanding with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across both business and technology
are comfortable taking ownership of projects, introducing new ways of working and onboarding and supporting colleagues as changes are implemented
act quickly and effectively during critical incidents, ensuring clear coordination, service stability and operational resilience in high-pressure situations
communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
Please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
