Here’s what the job entails
As our new Head of Controlling & Operations, Germany and Italy you will manage a team of 12 employees, responsible for controlling and supporting our customer business in Germany and Italy. Your main role will be to support and develop the team, set a clear direction and drive continuous improvement – all of which are crucial to ensuring a scalable and efficient controlling and operations setup in a competitive energy market.
Together with the Customer Business Management team, you will play a vital role in developing the function and continuously improving our collaboration and leadership skills.
More specifically, your responsibilities include:
managing and developing a team of curious and skilled employees
ensuring controlling and operations tasks are carried out in an appropriate and scalable way
optimising and documenting processes
supervising successful implementation of new products
participating in and leading cross-functional projects
Meet your team
You will join our team Controlling & Operations, Germany and Italy, where we work with onboarding of assets, asset master data and customer requests, ensuring data consistency as well as stable and efficient business controlling. We continuously strive to improve our controlling and operations processes, where data quality and scalability are key priorities.

As a leader, we imagine that you are empathetic, supportive and seek understanding of the needs and motivations of your team. We also expect you to be proactive, keen on taking responsibility, and have an eye for optimising processes and managing an operational setup. You will work with various cases that require thorough analyses to contribute to decision-making, so you should also be interested in having a data-driven and structured approach to problem-solving.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
have an educational background in finance, economics, IT or a related field – but this is not a tipping point to us
are familiar with data and analytical tools such as SQL and/or Power BI
have previous experience, and a proven track record, as a leader
are proficient in English – both written and spoken
Please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
